OUR ONE SCHOOL POLICY
Owl House will only enroll children who are not attending an additional daycare/school.
EXCEPTIONS TO THE POLICY
If you need more childcare than Owl House can provide – Owl House will make an exception until we do have space available.
Transitioning out of Owl House - When your child is transitioning to a new school, we understand that there may need to be a transition period in which they attend both schools.
Family, friends, babysitters, etc. - This policy does not pertain to time your child spends with your family, friends, babysitters, etc.
Lessons - Lessons (i.e. ski, dance, music, swim lessons, etc.) are not included in "schools.”
Drop-ins – This policy does not pertain to occasional drop-in days by Owl House alumni.
FAQs
Why does Owl House have this policy?
We have seen that most children benefit from a stable, predictable routine in which they know what to expect each day. We believe that having one daycare/school helps a child build a strong foundation that will prepare them for everything that will come next for them.
We have noticed that having some children attend additional schools creates a lack of group cohesion with the children at Owl House.
To create our upcoming schedules, I need to know families' plans ahead of time. This is difficult when they are waiting to hear what schedule they will be given by another school.
Does this mean my child will need to attend Owl House five days/week?
No. It is okay if you don’t need childcare five days/week.
